About Affiliate
What does “affiliate” mean?
It means When you click on certain links from our website to another website, that website may be an affiliate with us. If you purchase products from the website we recommended, whether it’s software, books, or other items, we may receive a commission as compensation.
Why are we talking about this?
We created Content Shifu with the goal of becoming a website and community that provides knowledge about Digital Marketing / Inbound Marketing / Content Marketing / MarTech. We hope to nurture and care for it until it grows into a website that truly delivers value to our followers.
In addition to the value we strive to deliver, we equally prioritize transparency and integrity. This is the reason we have written this Disclosure Page. Furthermore, if there are any significant changes in the future, we are also willing to disclose everything.
Our Affiliate Marketing Principles
Most of the products we recommend are ones we currently use or have used before. However, there might be some products we have never used due to price constraints but we think they are good and deserve to be recommended.
Normally, our workflow is as follows.
- Find useful topics that people are likely to be interested in.
- Write the structure of the article.
- Start writing the article. If there are any examples or products that complement the article, we will include detailed information about them.
- The final step is to check if the product we wrote about has an Affiliate Program. If it does, we will insert the Affiliate link. If it doesn’t, we will link to the product as usual.
Therefore, we want to assure that the products we write about or mention are ones we genuinely like and believe are truly good. We choose them because we think they are good first, and if we can add an affiliate link, we will do so later.
However, just because we like those products doesn’t mean you will enjoy them too, as the nature of your work and ours may differ. We would like to recommend that you study each product in detail and thoroughly before making a purchase (many of them are available for free trials). We reserve the right to not be responsible for any damage caused by those products not meeting your needs.
About Resource Downloads from Partners
Some resources on the Resources page are resources that Content Shifu has created in collaboration with partners.
On each Resource page, there will be downloadable information, and you will need to fill in details such as your name, email, phone number, and other personal information.
If you download the Resource we created with our Partner, we will share your information with our Partner as well. We will clearly inform you before you download that we will share your information, and we will ask you to tick to give your consent.
This method is called Lead Generation, which is one of our Business Models.
